● Objectives

The aim of the eighth Isfahan Seminar on Representations of Algebras (ISRA-VIII) is to introduce some new topics in the representation theory of algebras to the Iranian algebraic community. It will also prepare the ground for exchanging ideas and collaborations.
This seminar will focus on Differential Graded (DG) structures. DG structures represent a powerful and flexible framework that finds applications across various mathematical disciplines, including algebraic geometry, homological algebra, and topology. DG structures also play a pivotal role in homological algebra, offering a refined understanding of chain complexes, cochain complexes, and derived categories. DG categories offer a precise way to work with derived functors and resolutions.
The lecture series will be on
- A-infinity structures,
- dg algebras, modules, and categories, and
- exact dg categories.
