International Workshop on Extremal Combinatorics

● Objectives

Extremal Combinatorics is a field of Combinatorics that studies the maximum or the minimum size of a collection of finite objects (numbers, graphs, vectors, sets, etc.) satisfying certain restrictions. This field has received much attention and development in recent decades and the ideas from the area have seen applications to many related and unrelated areas, including number theory, computer science, discrete geometry and design theory.
The International Workshop on Extremal Combinatorics (IWEC 2022) which will be held online at Isfahan-Branch of the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences (IPM) on May 18-19, 2022, is an online gathering which brings together the leading experts and researchers in Extremal Combinatorics to discuss the latest advances and findings, to pose what remains to be done and to draw the direction for future work.
