The ninth Isfahan Seminar on Representations of Algebras will be held virtually on December 17-19, 2024 (27-29 Azar, 1403). This year's seminar's theme will be `Singularity Categories and Related Topics'.
This seminar will be dedicated to the memory of Professor Ragnar-Olaf Buchweitz, who was born on March 18, 1952, and passed away on November 11, 2017. He made significant contributions to various fields of mathematics. In particular, he introduced and studied singularity categories in his 155-page manuscript titled “Maximal Cohen-Macaulay Modules and Tate Cohomology Over Gorenstein Rings.”
